Advent Calendar Tree

This tree was created by the talented Mary Ann Penn using Cricut Design Space.

If you are a member of the FB Group Cricut Design Space With Melody Lane you will be able to get the file.

I cut the tree  using lightweight chipboard on my Cricut Explore Air 2's deep blade.

Then I cut 65 lb cardstock from Recollections in green and glued it to the lightweight chipboard.

The boxes are cut from Recollections white 65lb cardstock.  The mats, scalloped circles, etc. are all cut from scraps from my stash.

I used sparkly pipe cleaners to give the tree extra dimension and shine.

For the top layer of the tree I used little ornaments I found in the Target dollar spot.

The boxes are numbered 1-24 and are small enough for dollar bills, candies, lip gloss, lip balm, etc.

I made this for my granddaughter and it is pretty sturdy, so I'm hoping she has it for years to come.

If you can, make it a crafty day!

Thanksgiving Card with Cricut DS File

5 x 7 Card

This card was created with the Intricate Seasonal Art images file from Cricut Design space.

The image has 4 parts.  I used Vintage Photo Distress Glitter for the Harvest Blessing, Tulip Beads in a Bottle and a Pearl Pen to embellish the die cut.  The card is 5 x 7 and has Bazzil paper for the brown card base and cream card mat.  The checkerboard paper and button are from my stash.

You can find the Cricut DS file here if you have Cricut Access or can purchase the file separately.    https://design.cricut.com/#/design/114486423

Halloween Dimensional Cards

These cards were made with the Cricut Design Space Dimensional Scenes-- Spooky Hollow.

I cut these cards 6 x 6 and used Recollection cardstock from Michaels.

This card is called Trick or Treat.  I used foam squares in between each layer to give it extra dimension.  I used copper colored glitter glue from my stash to give some sparkle on the outside layer.

This card is called Happy Halloween.  I used some glitter stickers from my stash, some bling on the fence posts and Ranger's white enamel to make dots on the border of the card.

Both cards were used for swaps.  I really enjoyed making these.  If you cut an easel they can be displayed as home decor.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Halloween Tags

Halloween Tags 2018

These tags were made with an all-in-one set from Tim Holtz's new Halloween collection.

This set includes 3 stamps: Frankie, skull & crossbones and a witch hat. Those of you that are Harry Potter fans may like to use the hat as the "Sorting Hat."

The set also includes the dies for the characters & phrases like "Boo", "Happy Halloween," "I love candy."

I used Wilted Violet & Black Soot Distress Oxide inks & Stickles.

I also have a YouTube video showing the tags up close.

80th Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my Aunt Janet who turned 80 last week.  She lives in the UK so I thought a tea themed card would be nice.

In the UK the cards are bigger than they are here in the U.S., so I made a 5 x 7 card.

The tea cups & tea pot are svg files from Cricut Design Space.  The branch that the bird is sitting on is a die cut from Tim Holtz.  The bird is a sticker from my stash and I used the Cricut Explore writing feature to put the sentiment on the card.

Hope you like it.
If you can make it a crafty day.
