Rainy Day Scrapbooking

Well, its cold & rainy here.  Yeah, I know those of you up in the great white north feel sorry for us Floridians.  So, I decided to try to catch up on some scrapbooks layouts.  We have boxes & boxes of pictures.  This is a trip to Peanut Island about 20 minutes from our house.  I've fallen in LOVE with Tim Holtz products.

I used a sheet of paper I got at Michael's and distressed it lightly with Forest Moss Distress Ink.  I used my Cricut Stretch Your Imagination cartridge for the sandcastle and shells.  I distressed them with the Forest Moss and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.  My journal sign is from my Scrapbook Factory CD and it's distressed too.

Aiden's Valentine Card

This is the Valentine card for my 2 yr old great-nephew.  I used DCWV paper, Cuttlebug, Cricut's Winter Frolic cart for the sheep and the Basic Cake cart for the hearts.  I also blinged out the heart.

Valentine's Day Card Class

This is one of the cards I made at my local scrapbook store.  We made three cards.  This card used embossing and Copix markers.  I like the pink & brown together.

Tim Holtz Tags

Went to the local scrapbook store last Sunday and they had some left-over materials to make these Tim Holtz tags. A lot of steps. The nice thing is that if you don't like a part-- don't add it.

Twilight Cupcakes

My daughter loves the Twilight books and movies, so I made some blood-red red velvet cupcakes and used my Cricut Cupcake Wrapper cart to cut these holders. Yummy!

Thank You Card

I was playing around with my Gypsy I got for Christmas and I remembered seeing a card similar to this on the cover of the new Cricut magazine and this is my interpretation of it. Hope you like.

Aiden's Christmas Card

This is Aiden- my great-nephew. He just turned 2 and is sooo cute. The smaller pic is his card I made him.

Christmas Cards

I really like this card! Who would of thought that brown could be Christmassy.

New Year

Haven't been able to post lately. Too much going on. Those of you that know me, know how hard 2010 was for our family. (The loss of my nephew and my mother's health problems.)

So, for 2011 I'm hoping all the bad (at least our share of it) is gone for awhile so we can focus on the good stuff like my daughter's wedding in June!

Santa brought me some more crafting goodies, so I'm hoping to put them to good use.
