Silent Night Bendy Card from Dreaming Tree/EDSVG.com

I was a little intimidated to a make this card.  Thank you to Dreaming Tree for your videos on how to put the cards together.

You can't really tell from the picture but the paper is white/pearly/shiny paper.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

EOS Holders

I used my Cricut Explore to cut all of these.  Some were from Cricut cartridges and some were SVG files I found on-line.

Love Love Love these.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Santa Stuck in Chimney Card

I had so much fun making this card.

It is a SVG cut file from www.birdscard.com.  She really has some nice SVG files.

I couldn't think of a saying for the front of the card, so I looked through my stash and found these wooden embellishments I got at Michaels last year.

Hope you likey.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafting one.

Pop Up Box Christmas Cards

The base, flaps and card mats were all cut with the Cricut Explore.

This card uses embellishments from Michaels, snowflakes that I cut up from the Dollar Tree.  The paper is from The Paper Studio-  "Christmas on Amesberry Street."

I'm really loving the red, black and silver combo.  The paper is from DCWV "Candy Cane Lane."  The cut outs are from the collection.  I used red and silver pipe cleaners for extra embellishing.

This is the ugly sweater card.  The base is from DCWV "Candy Cane Lane."  The ugly sweaters are from the Recollections collection "Say Freeze."

This card is also from the DCWV "Candy Cane Lane" collection.  I just added some stickers I found found at the Dollar Tree.

Another  DCWV "Candy Cane Lane" card.  I again used the Snowflakes from the Dollar Tree as filler.

Final card from DCWV "Candy Cane Lane."  The embellishments are from some of my leftover scraps.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Anna Griffin Christmas Card

I used the Anna Griffin Christmas Kitsch Cricut cartridge.  This card is a 5 x 5 card.  The paper used was the white shiny Recollections paper from Michaels.  You can find it where the individual paper sheets are sold.  The embellishments are cut from brown multi-colored scrap paper.  I used red Stickles to decorate the tree and the deer's nose.  Silver Stickles were used for the snowflakes and brown enamel pen was used for the deer's eye.

I love this Anna Griffin cartridge.  The cartridge also comes with matching envelope so you don't have to worry about trying to figure it out.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

First Shaker Card

This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  Used the  Cricut Explore to cut, score, slice out the heart shape and write on the card.  I used a Cuttlebug Swiss dot embossing folder and some ribbon from my stash.

The acetate is from some packaging.  Getting the foam tape the right height and adding the glitter and sequins was a little tricky.  Now I know what to do, hopefully the next one is a little easier.

My folks have been married for 55 years!

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Even a Witch Can Be a Shoe Diva!

Had so much fun making this card for a swap! This is a 5 x 7 card with a black mat.

The purple spider web paper is from my stash. The Trick or Treat and bat are from an old DCWV die cut collection.

The shoes and leggings are from a Darice embossing folder.  I embossed 2 sets and cut them out separately to give some dimension.  The shoes are blinged out with a clear Wink of Stella pen and the buckles are silver Stickles.  The shoes are popped  too for more dimension.

Hated to see this one go. . .

Have a great day--  make it a crafty one.

Happy Halloween Card For Swap

This is a 5 x 7 card that is 2 layers.  It has a black mat and a piece of scrap paper from an old collection.  ( I love to use up my scraps!).

The doily is cut in half to fit on the card.  I inked it with Distress Ink in Walnut.  The orange Halloween sticker and bling spiders are from my stash.

My swap partner liked it so that's all that matters.

Dr. Dreadful Halloween Card

Christmas Cards 8/8/2015 Crop- Works in Progress

These cards are works in progress.   Went to a local crop yesterday.

The first card is a small card, perfect for last minute gifts or use as a tag.

The image is from the Cricut A Quilted Christmas cartridge.   The name of the image is Wise Man Card.  The image is also part of the Cricut Design Space subscription.

I cut the outer images at 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches out of very lightweight glitter paper from the dollar spot at Target.  The inner card is navy and burgundy heavy card stock cut 1/8 of an inch smaller.

I'm still thinking about how to embellish the front.  Maybe something simple like "Peace."

The second card was super easy.  I used green card stock from Michaels (Recollections brand).  It cuts like butter with the Cricut Explore.

The image is from the Cricut Design space subscription Holiday Cards 9, Christmas Card.  The card is cut at 5.5 inches by 8 inches.  The insert is red glitter paper (also from the Target dollar spot).  I cut the insert a little bigger so that I could adhere it to the card and then cut off any excess.

Still not sure if the card needs anything else.  Will have to put on my thinking cap.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Easter Cards

These two cards were made with the Cricut Explore.  I was practicing using the "slice" feature.

The first one was for my granddaughter and the second one I made for family members.

It's kind of hard to see, but there is bling on the cards.

Have a great day, make it a crafty one.

Mickey Mouse Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my husband's Aunt.  She LOVES Disney and she is 70 years young.

I used my Cricut Explore.  The die cuts are from the Cricut Mickey & Friends cartridge.  The card base is a cut file created by Melody Lane from melodylanedesigns.blogspot.com.   You can find her all over social media.  Just google Melody Lane designs.  She was kind enough to share this file with the Cricut Explore Facebook group.

This is an easel card and my very first one.

Have a great day.  Make it a crafty one.

Cards for Swap

Just a couple of quick cards I made for a swap.  The first one I used the Cricut Explore.  Love it that when you need a quick card this machine has a lot of ready-made ideas for you:

This next card is from a paper pack (can't remember the name) that I got at Michaels.  It was one of those $5 Hot Buy Pads.  This paper pad had some many cute cut-outs that it was a breeze to make this card:
