Christmas Cards

I like that Christmas cards aren't always red & green.  This year I felt in a nature/organic mood.

The first card is a stamp from Heartfelt Creations.  I picked it up at the West Palm Beach Scrapbook Expo.

The second card is a stamp that I picked up at my local scrapbook store Everything Scrapbook & Stamps.  I love squirrels and birds.  We have them in our back yard and I just fell in love with them.

Cheryl Mezzetti Class

I took a class at my local scrapbook store, Everything Scrapbook & Stamps, on November 4th.

Cheryl Mezzetti was the guest teacher.  The class was awesome and a great opportunity to learn some new techniques and of course get some new products.

The class was a mini-album.

This is the cover.  It was a combo of snowflake patterned card stock layered with an acetate sheet that we used a Viva pen (pearl) to highlight the snowflake.  I also used a second sheet of acetate that came in our kit on top of that.  We used modeling cream to form the tree.  The tree was chipboard and we used H20 paints.

Had a lot of fun making this.  This one I'm gonna keep.  Sorry.

Kylee

You will be seeing a lot of this young lady.  My Granddaughter Kylee.  She is 3 weeks old today.

Christmas Mini Album

My newest obsession are mini albums.  YouTube is an awesome classroom.

This is a mini for my nephew.  He will be 3.  I thought the colors were great for a little one.

I got the Grinch figures at Michaels on clearance last year.  They are foam stickers.  The album is made from paper bags.   I used up a lot of my Christmas scrap paper.  I bound it with an old fashioned binding machine that I use at work for our legal briefs.

The tags I cut with my Cricut.  I had a lot of fun making this.

There is room for pictures or you can place something in the pockets.

These are the tags I cut from my Cricut.  You can hang them on a tree, use as a decoration or put pictures on the back.

Very easy to make.  Enjoy.

Moose Card

This is a card I made with some left-over materials.  My hubby got me a scapbook calendar one year and the moose was one of the days.  I thought this card was cute for a guy, a hunter or someone that lives in the great white north.

Acrylic Album

Took a class at the West Palm Beach Scrapbook Expo last Saturday.  The class was with Clear Scraps.  They are a husband & wife team from Colorado.  We made this awesome album.  I was a little intimiated about the acrylic at first, but it was very easy.  Bought a couple of kits and will be giving them as gifts.  Hope you like. 

In a Fall Mood

It's hot as hell here in S. Florida and I'm wishing for some cooler weather.  This got me in the mood for a Thanksgiving card.  Hope you like it.

Pink Zebra Baby Shower Invite

This is the baby shower invitation I made for my daughter's upcoming baby shower.  The theme as you can tell is pink and zebra stripes.  It is a gate fold card.

My father-in-law loves Nascar and classic cars, so I made him this card for his birthday. 

2011 SUCKED!

Well it's been awhile.  Let me just say that 2011 SUCKED except for my daughter's wedding.  My breast cancer returned at the end of March.  I underwent surgery and am almost finished with all the chemical treatment.

I've been crafting, so I will post some new items soon.
