Swapbot

My newest obsession (other than mini-albums and Tim Holtz)  is Swapbot.

I've done 6 swaps.  We swap paper, embellishments, stickers, extra supplies.  It's a great way to clean out your stash on things you don't use and get some cool goodies.

Is Christmas Over?

Not at my house.   Those of you that know me, know that I LOVE Christmas.  I scrapbook Christmas year-round.

Below are some layouts I made for Kylee's Christmas album. 

Sorry the pics are dark.  Very quick & simple layouts made with K & Company paper & die-cuts. Inked edges with Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink (my fav).

Chipboard Purse

This is a chipboard purse I made for my God-daughter's 21st birthday.  She's a girly girl.

I'm not showing all the pages, it is a BIG PURSE.  I used a variety of different papers, distress inks, flowers and bling.

Christmas Cards

I like that Christmas cards aren't always red & green.  This year I felt in a nature/organic mood.

The first card is a stamp from Heartfelt Creations.  I picked it up at the West Palm Beach Scrapbook Expo.

The second card is a stamp that I picked up at my local scrapbook store Everything Scrapbook & Stamps.  I love squirrels and birds.  We have them in our back yard and I just fell in love with them.

Cheryl Mezzetti Class

I took a class at my local scrapbook store, Everything Scrapbook & Stamps, on November 4th.

Cheryl Mezzetti was the guest teacher.  The class was awesome and a great opportunity to learn some new techniques and of course get some new products.

The class was a mini-album.

This is the cover.  It was a combo of snowflake patterned card stock layered with an acetate sheet that we used a Viva pen (pearl) to highlight the snowflake.  I also used a second sheet of acetate that came in our kit on top of that.  We used modeling cream to form the tree.  The tree was chipboard and we used H20 paints.

Had a lot of fun making this.  This one I'm gonna keep.  Sorry.
