Product Review- Close to My Heart Art Philosophy and Artiste Cartridges

I received the Close to My Heart Cricut Art Philosophy and Artiste Cartridges from my hubby for Christmas.  I've had so much fun using them.  Each cartridge has 700 images and comes with 3 stamp sets and 3 chipboard dimensional elements that coordinate with the stamps.

Granted they are not cheap.  Santa hubby was very generous.   Each cartridge was either $99 or $100.  BUT THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.  I have made so many paper flowers and delicate/intricate doilies.

I've started binge cutting sheets and sheets of various die cuts in varying sizes so I can hoard them and use them later.

Not your typical Valentine's Day

This is a card I made with some scraps and one of the Close to My Heart Cricut cartridges.

The second item is a tag for a Swap-Bot swap:  Used Tim Holtz grungeboard for the hearts and made the flower with of the Close to My Heart Cricut cartridges.  The stamped sentiment is CTMH too.

Graphic 45 By The Sea altered picture frame

Love Love Love Graphic 45

This is a wooden frame I got at JoAnn's.  Used Mod Podge and the By The Sea paper collection.  Fussy cut some of the embellishments.  Did want to go overboard (no pun intended) because the paper is so beautiful.

Shabby Chic Valentine Tag Swap

This was a lot of fun to make.  The cool thing is that my partner told me that she is hanging it up in her craft room.

Altered Playing Cards (APCs) Swap

In the same vane as ATCs.  This was an Altered Playing Card swap.  My first one so I wasn't sure how they would turn out:

ATC Swaps

Here are some ATCs for some swaps.  I think you can guess the theme.   I've kind of become addicted to these things:
